SUBJECT: HAZARDOUS RECALL -  “Madison DLP” TV Stand from Sauder-Studio RTA

DISTRIBUTION: WORLDWIDE

In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sauder- Studio RTA, of Pico Rivera, Calif. is voluntarily recalling various TV stands for the tip-over hazard.

NAME OF PRODUCT: Various TV Stands (AAFES ONLY SOLD THE MODEL LISTED BELOW)

DESCRIPTION: “Madison DLP” Model 060176: The product consists of three glass shelves with dark wood grain finish frame components, black legs, and a black fiberboard back panel.

DISTRIBUTOR: Sauder- Studio RTA, of Pico Rivera, Calif.

HAZARD: The stability of the stands does not meet industry standards to prevent TV tip-over, posing a risk of injury or death to consumers. The instructions and labeling list incorrect load capacities. The stand can accommodate 135 lbs. max, not 240 lbs. as per the labeling and instructions.
